You have to remove that big back panel on the inside of the hatch. It's hot difficult to do.

What I did is this: decently wide flathead screwdriver, wrapped it in electrical tape, and pryed. It uses the same type of clips (if that's what you want to call them) that the door panels use. Then after you're done, pull the clips that didn't come off with the panel, put them back on panel, and clip back on. It's easy!

Not a problem! I know I was reeeeally iffy about doing it in the first place, too. But I needed to sound deaden it (still needs more!!!). It's like pulling a tooth.

I need to replace my lights, too. BTW, which ones did you get? I don't want to get something ridiculously bright, because I don't feel like everyone needs to see my license plate.
