Ok, I was bored and messing around out in the garage and decided I wanted to finish some panels in the motor area. I hated that you could see in the side of the fenders. Looked really unfinished in there. I made a template and then started cutting. I made them out of sheet metal. I painted them flat black to match some of the peices in there, but I think I am going to have them color matched to the car. That way they blend in.

This is my second set of them. I didnt like the first set I made about 6 months ago. So I threw it on the back burner, then decided to try and make the new ones yesterday. I might try and paint them silver today if I get a chance,
i think they'd look better though with a rounded dip/curve to them, and a bend here or there, and they weren't completely straight and whatever...silver would also make it flow nicer....
but that would require more metal work though. great idea. very original. i think it hits the list for stuff i want to do. and i can hide wires or something behind! ....like a HID ballast or something, i dont know.
