Has anyone with a Nautical Blue removed their black tape yet?? How does it look?? Can you post a picture of it?? thanks alot!!.. jh

I have a NBM but I only removed the A-Pillar tape. IMO the window frames look better with it. ____ty photo... dusk... flash reflections.

 

i have removed it all on my NB but it is currently in the shop for a new alarm, i will post some pics tomorrow

 

I just bought a Nautical Blue (doesnt come in until Sunday).

But I have no idea what "tape" you guys are talking about. Can you help me out ?

 

Its the black around the pillars and door frames, its a design cue to make the car appear to have a stronger horizontal lines by making the windows seem like all one piece. Some people are removing this 'tape' (matte vinyl I believe), to be different, but it does tend to break the lines of the car up a bit imo. Though, I dig what ScionFred did there, with just the first pillar, hell, I never even noticed on mine that there was tape on that pillar til I saw his example unpeeled.

ya, 5% all the way around and a 35% on the whole front windshield. its nice but really dark at night lol.

sorry the pics arent the best, my digital camera was recently stolen so i took the pics with my iphone

 

I remove them all the time and then clear bra so the pretty paint dont be chippin

 

have seen pics of all the colors with the door tape peeled. i suggest keeping the tape on. looks much better IMO. looks clean with the a-pillars peeled, but that's as far as i'd go.
