Here is a Link on how to remove the upper grill. Super Super Easy

http://trdsparks.com/install/PTS01-52070inst.pdf

For the lower grill you gotta remove the hole bumper or get under the car and remove the plastic skid plate / Splash Guard.

And you wanna remove the scion emblem on the trunk and place on the front/???

Heat gun and some fishing line. once removed you will see two holes where the nipples in the back of the badge went. Not like the first gen's that just stuck on.

My xB emblem was just stuck on. I believe it is the scion emblem that leaves holes.

it's just stuck on, hair dryer or heat gun and fishing line (or dental floss)

But you sure you want to use the piranha bar? even they tell you it's not waterproof

Check this page on that site. It shows the products that are WATERPROOF. Most are better suited for the grill area because they are flexable. As a matter of fact, if you search the site you will see a scion area too. In there is a description of what the Xb used for the grills.... Seems like a 36" for the upper and maybe a 19" for the lower. Anyway, this page gives WATERPROOF data.....

Good luck. I am wanting to do grills, under-body and wheel wells myself, but it will have to wait a bit longer.

to take the side vents and lower grill off You have to unbolt the nose piece!! 2 bolts in each wheel well and about 6 underneath the vehicle. A 10 MM wrench and a 12 should be all you need!!!!
