the oem spoiler probably won't like just double sided tape with the lack of surface area that will be used to mount it.

i'd follow the oem instructions and mount it as such.

I would still drill, two small pieces of tape on each end holding a SPOILER is not a great idea...

^^X2 I would drill even though you want another spoiler later, cause imagine driving down the interstate, or even street, and your spoiler just falling off.... drill FTTW!
