Anyone have any luck with getting one of these? Anyone have it installed? I have the factory one but don't care for it.

I would like to know if anyone had gotten it too. I've been looking at them myself.

I broke down and ordered one too. I have it already (fast delivery on their part) but it will be a while before I can put it on. Having to have the rear bumper replaced since someone decided to rear end me last week. I'm waiting on the insurance check now.

Damn that sucks! Sorry to hear that! I have the factory one, but I like this one far better because of the edge coverage.

Waiting for the pics, too. I think the overhang will add to the functionality of the protector. (I have the newer scion one and put reflective red tape under the letter cut-outs. I think it looks a little too bold for my tastes, too much contrast.) The scion part does nothing to protect the bumper when sliding someithing heavy over the edge. Anyone have anyggod ideas on how to remove the old strip?

Willey I'd say hit it with a hair dryer & get it good & hot, then peel off slowely......... when it's off & cooled down, then something to remover the glue residue left over..... jh

bump...I really want to see this. Is it really molded plastic or just a vinyl sticker?

Hey Wil,

I just took my factory Scion one of and it just took a bit of heat from the hair dryer and off it came. I have not installed the new one yet, but will be when it gets a bit warmer.

It is a molded plastic and has ridges on the tomp and the plastic is textured on top also.

Its on my ride! fitment its great on it and it was really easy to install. it cam with 3m tape just peel and stick. i would take a pic of it but i got rear ended (not that bad tho) and its at the shop now. hahah bad luck i guess. first a fire then rear ended. just my luck. so while its at the shop im having them paint a few "lil" things on my car. ill show you when its done! prob a week or so. but yeah back to the gaurd. i think it looks great. we got the oem one for my ladies new sti and the quality between hers and mine was the same. they did a really good job with it!

I really like the looks of this one... peel and stick backing?

I bought the 'SCION' one from another ebay dealer and don't really care for it. Plus, It's on a black xB and it's paper thin so you really can't even see it.

ok, so I ordered the bumper protector on Monday I believe, and it arrived today (Thursday). Very fast shipping. And the quality of it is great. It's a molded plastic/rubber piece, very high quality in my opinion. Here's some pics of it before I install it.

I went ahead and installed the bumper protector. It was really easy since it just sticks on with the sticky tape under it. There are 23 ridges on the protector, and you line up the 12th one with the center latch that holds the trunk down.
