NO it is very easy to do. Took me about 45 minutes start to finish. If you are not good with spray painting, you may want tp try learning the way to spray paint first. NEVER STOP MOVING THE CAN!! Start the spray 2 or 3 inches to the side, sweep across the part, then stop the spray 2 or 3 inches past the part. Back and forth, top to nottom or bottom to top. It's very easy.

I'm pretty good with a rattle can. I was just worried about all the different little edges on the lights... I wanted to sand them and clear coat too, but I don't think it would work...
