Default Not your typical adjustment question...need your help

Ok Guys, (here goes)

A couple of days ago, I posted about my HID's being too wide. I've gotten over it.

In that same post, i mentioned how it seemed like beams were coming out of a crack in the casing. well as it turns out, that is not the case. at least i don't think it is

It appears that my headlights are pointed too far inward and bouncing a bit of light off the the divider between the low and high beam. Now im not quite sure if this is the problem, but i can't really think of anything else.

I even checked this evening. I was stopped at a light and i look to my left and i see some of my HID light shining onto the door of the car directly to the left of me. Is this normal? I don't know how to explain it, it's like 3-4 beams of light shining outwards to the left and right of me. (yes it is on both sides)

I have read a lot about the adjustment 8mm **** behind the lights. However, if i read correctly, that only adjusts up and down. I feel like my problem is left and right.

When i installed my kit, i didn't touch a single thing in terms of adjustment so i duno how it can be that my projectors seem to be crosseyed (both looking too inward)

will adjusting up and down fix this problem possibly?

and i suppose i can live with it, but it's just friggin annoying that i have beams coming out the front sides of my car like wings

sorry for the big pic, but i wanted to try and explain the divider. it's the shiny flat piece between the low projector and the highbeam.

please offer any opinions, suggestions, HELP!

Put your stock halogen bulbs back in and see if you have the same problem.

Just remember that our headlights were never designed to use hids.

I am a pretty picky person. I would even go to say that I am a perfectionist...

BUT I still don't understand what your hang up is on all of this? HIDs are meant to put light out as far as possible hence the name High Intensity Discharge. Yes they are bright and yes they are going to produce some glare especially in headlight housing not made to be compatable with them.

IMHO you are looking WAYYY to in depth with this. No your headlights are not pointing inward. No there are no breaks in the casting.

What you need to do is take your HIDs out and put the stock bulbs back in because that seems like the only thing that is going to make you happy.

I have the same thing you are talking about as I'm sure does everyone else. The HID puts off a ton more light so you get refractions and light beams on the ground that you didn't have before. If you don't like it just take them out!

I am not trying to be rude or forward but I truly think you are being way to **** about the whole thing...plus I am tired of seeing threads about your non existent "problem"

why does that bother you? and i think the projectors were designed to throw some light to the left and right. what if you were turning left at night in an unlit street? i encounter this problem all the time and i have HIDs. i almost hit a couple people until the last minute.

if what im understand is right, you want basically two flashlights as headlights for 2 perfect round beams of light with no cast offcenter? there is no headlight projector that does that. youre better off buying a HID flashlight and taping that to the car cause then youll get 2 perfect round projections.

here is a pic as to what i am talking about...it's not the wideness im talking about..it's the frikkin patch of light that appears from nowhere

close up

the light on the ground isn't even connected to the field of vision

pic from the top...

do my headlights need adjusting? up or down?

Thanks all...I just want to know if any of you are seeing this as well. It is not a too wide issue, it is light that is annoying while im driving because i see it following me out of the corner of my eye.

if there is nothing to be done..then whatever..i'll try to cope...but i just wanted your feedback...please don't flame
