Well, Ive been keeping this thing under wraps for the last three months while it been being painted let me know what you think!













The car will be at the Sciontific show this Sunday.

 

Dude that looks sick! Man i really want to learn how to do custom paint jobs like that. It must have taken a long time with lots of masking and prep work.

The yellow paint splatter design kinda looks like a seahorse.

 

LOL me and the painter have been staring at it all night pointing things out that look like stuff haha

 

Really not all that difficult if it was done as I think it was. There's a masking material that can be plotted and cut with a regular vinyl sticker cutter. I know most shops do this. It cuts down on a TON of masking work.

I dig it!!! I can't wait to see it all done up, out of the booth, and in the sunlight!!! I like how you painted the 'euro' hood!!! KUDOS! I'm just not a fan of carbon fiber. Handles shaved looks good, too!

 

Thanks a lot man! I was wondering how long it would take somebody to notice lol the door handles . I personally dig cf but too each his own haha.

We did use a vinyl cutter to make the designs Good Eye! it took about 24 hour or strait masking to finish it up and get it ready for paint. There was stuff in the mask that was .05 of and inch lol.

LOL I wouldnt expect much better from me. I have a nice camera but I dont have what you would call photography skills haha.

its actually more yellow then the picture shows its the florescent lights in the shop that make it that cheesy caso dip color haha. Thanks for the feedback everybody its very appreciated!

 

Man it takes something awesome to make me want to take the time to log in and make a post (yes I'm that lazy) AND I hardly ever like that type of paint job...but that looks damn good. Awesome job man...more pics when it is out and about and at the auto show please
