I just got an xB and I was wondering how much it would cost to have it painted into the Blackberry Crush color?

 

Why didn't you buy a BBC? Painting the whole car is going to run you about $2500 or more from a good painter. If you're going to paint the car, why not go a custom color?

 

Yea... so you traded in your tC for the xB and aren't happy, and you didn't even get the color you wanted?

This is the weirdest topic I've read all day. Why would you buy a brand new car and NOT buy the color you wanted?

 

Almost had this problem, i was gona get the red one and i decided to go with the Nautical Blue. I must say i am very happy i made this color choice instead.

 

i bought the bcm cause its hot its the color of my dreams all the interior on my gen one was bcm

 

Too really do it right in high quality materials will likely cost in the $4000-6000 range or more (painting in engine compartment??). Remember that in order to do this right (like factory) the entire body must be dissassembled (doors, gate, fenders, bumpers, hood, etc. ) removed from the car and dissassembled for complete refinishing. Materials cost alone for quality sealer,paint,and clearcoat will run $600 or more (likely more).

Yeah I was gonna get the Rumion Red one too, but said oh hell... I'll take Nautical Blue instead.. I readdly dont want that red one sitting there.. lol
I inquired about paintint the lower half of mine a second colorlighter Blue with a grafic seperating the colors.. i was quoted 3500 WITHOUT doing the inside of the door jambs.. Yes.. it's gonna cost you a bundle......... good luck with your new ride... jh
