Default PO456......Please help

Hello. So a couple of month ago I got an engine check, VSC, and TRAC OFF on my Scion xB 2006 so I found out the code (PO456) and started from replacing fuel cap. It worked grate. My check engine, VSC, and TRAC OFF was gone. I had no trouble at all for a bout 4 to 5 month and now, from all of a sudden, I get the same error code (PO456). I tightened the fuel cap but the error code still not going away. Can anyone please recommend me what to do? Why did the error code appeared after 5 month? I'm thinking its not a sensor because if it was it would detect something earlier.

I found out the problem and the problem was not EVAP canister. I didn't close my fuel cap all the way and then when I filled up my car again, next day the check engine disappeared.

I always do 5 clicks. Just to be safe.
On my 12 xb no clicks just locks but still do it more than once lol.
