Put mine on a few months ago. The color was perfectly matched and it looks like it should have been there in the first place. Functional enough and seems to work similarly to my oem antenna and picks up my local stations fine. Installs in under 30 minutes.
I tried a 2009 corolla antenna and it fit perfectly. The only problem I had was that the xB has an amplified bass while the corolla doesn't. I had to leave my factory antenna hooked up and taped to the inside of my headliner. My signal wasn't too bad but I needed a little more so I installed an 09 matrix antenna on my xB. It's got a painted base with a small whip antenna.

The Antenna mast that I used is from a tC but the Matrix mast is different and looks somewhat like the B's.
The base for the matrix(comes painted) is $133 list.
The only thing you have to do with the new base is shave off a locating pin that the xB doesn't have. The bolt and wires are the same however and no coax end replacement is required.

Sorry it took so long. I forget that I post stuff here every once in a while.
As you can see, it does come close but the tC antenna bends back a litle from use. The base of the mast is soft and it will flex from the wind hitting it.

Thats cool. I was just posting what I had done so you could see another alternative.
The thing I don't like about the sharkfin is that it's held on with 3M adhesive tape. I'm sorry but there's nothing permanant about using tape to stick something to a car.
Also, I don't like the lines if the antenna. Just not my thing.
I've got an awesome reception and I'm using a Toyota product on my Toyota vehicle. I'm happy. ;)
