Default roof drip moulding replace

Hi y'all, I have a 2014 XB that needs the driver side roof drip moulding. I have no idea how or when I lost the one that was on there. Will water get into the car, etc? I hope to replace it soon. Even if I have to get one from a junkyard. Thanks.

Question Drip molding replacement

My drip molding has been replaced twice. Will it harm the car if I don't replace it?

I was literally just about to post about this. I didn't even know this was a thing when I bought my car 2 years ago lol. I noticed one was missing. I was going to ask when I replace it I see it clips. Can I also use adhesive so it doesn't get lost? Seems like they just fall out over time. Like 3M super strong moulding tape for automotive?
