Better hurry. They tend to sell out quick!

Replaced my amber incandescent front turn signals with V-LEDS dual color front LED turn signal bulbs. "HID" white running lights (actually more toward the blue color of 5000k-6000k HIDs) that blink amber when the turn signals are on. The link has a video showing them in operation:
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/T...-p5851397.html

The lower power draw of the LEDs will cause the turn signal to hyper-flash really fast, so you need to get the replacement flasher also:
http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4481146.html
You just have to snap off two thin little pieces of plastic on the housing for the new flasher to plug right in.

BTW, with the new flasher none of the running lights will blink anymore when you use the lock/unlock buttons on the key remote, but the audible beeps can still be heard.

Sorry for the bad pics, my camera sucks and has a dead battery that won't hold a charge anymore.

Can't wait to put in HID headlights, so they don't look yellow.

No, I left it in, you don't notice it from the front.

P-n-P. The bulbs are a simple swap out. For the flasher, you pull off the lower dash panel under the steering wheel (gently pull from the bottom of the panel first, it's just snapped on with built in clips), then pull out the OEM flasher (it's the one on the right side of the 3 modules, just to the left of the steering wheel). Break off the little clips on each side of the new flasher (they do nothing and will be obvious when you compare the two flashers), then plug in the new flasher & put the dash panel back on. Done.

BTW, the OEM flasher is not held on with any clips, but you have to tug really hard to get it off. Don't worry, you won't break anything.

Did you buy the resistors for this also? or no resistors needed for the bulb?

I went with the new flasher that I talked about & posted the link for above, instead of the load resistors. Load resistors build up heat, and require mounting plates to dissipate the heat. You also have to know where to tap into the electrical wires, and find a place to put the mounting plates. All that to save $1.50, have a lot more work, and ultimately not be as safe as just plugging in a new flasher.

I like them a lot, I use them as DRLs all the time.

I need to pick up some HID low beams in the next couple weeks, for the additional light HIDs provide, and because you can see how crappy the yellowish headlights look next to the LEDs.

I was curious if that was the right flasher from V-LED's!!! I replaced the 7440 bulbs in my TYC tails with some a buddy hooked me up with. I now have the tweaker flash and I'm sick of it.

Thanks for sharing, that is a sweet looking upgrade!

Is there anyway around that? Like using a different brand/type module? The flashing lights are helpful for my remote start when I'm out of earshot of the car (like upstairs inside the office @ work).

Thanks, lovin' it myself. You're on your own regarding the flashing lights when you use the remote, I have no idea what might work to keep the lights operational... I actually prefer the lights not blinking, but then I don't have or need the remote start feature that you have. You might try sending that question to V-LEDS to see if the resistors would still keep them operational, I've just never seen anybody else that used them because they're such a PITA to locate & hook up.

CIONIDE, how's the led so far? I want to change mine pretty soon, but need some clear answers. Are the bulbs and relay just plug and snap? no tools needed? any wiring need? where do I put a relay(s)? Mine to give me more detail on how-to?

Love the V-LEDs, it's all plug-n-play:

1. Swap out the bulbs.
2. Pop off the lower left interior dash panel (where the traction control switch is).
3. Pull out the stock flasher on the far right (just pull hard, but no clips to deal with or tools needed).
4. Break the two little tabs off the new flasher (very obvious when you compare it to the stock flasher you just removed).
5. Plug in the new flasher.
6. Pop the dash panel back on.

You're done! Go for a drive and enjoy.

It's that easy. With these directions, it should take all of 5-10 minutes to do the entire job.
