Two tone vinyl wrap

Two tone vinyl wrap
Just wanted to get y'alls opinion on an idea I had. I want to do a two tone scheme on my Blackberry Crush Metallic Xb2 but I don't want to do an expensive permanent paint job. So I was thinking about doing a DIY flat black vinyl wrap on the upper half of the car. I know they sell it in 60" widths and I've measured my car already and there aren't any sections wider than that (roof and hood included).
Here's a basic idea of what I'm looking for. This first image I rigged on a vinyl wrap website:
I want the edge to follow the body line just below the windows as it follows the natural rake of the belt line. Plus it allows the edge to continue across the super wide C-pillar and end naturally at the bottom corner of the rear glass.
Here's a few pics of a similar paint job someone did (different color obviously) but this is basically how I want it to come down the front, over the hood, and end in the insert of the middle of the bumper:
Maybe someone could do a quality photoshop of this design but in my BCM color? Also, has anyone on here done any large vinyl on their own? I'm gonna contact some local shops to get quotes, but I'm pretty sure I can buy sufficient quality 3M breathable matte black vinyl for this design at around $300-350 tops. If it's significantly cheaper to do it myself, then I will.
Any other suggestions on the lines are appreciated. Thanks!

.google/YouTube search "dip your car", it will be MUCH easier and look just as good as vinyl wrap with minimal taping off areas. plastidip is an amazing product. they even have a glossifier if you don't want the plastidip to look "matte".

Well the best quote from local shops I could get was around $900 so that's definitely not gonna happen. I could do it my self for $300-$400 and LOTS of man-hours but I'm still on the fence as to whether I want to actually do it or not. Good thing is, if I end up doing it and not liking it, it's not permanent, a la paint-job. However that would also mean a waste of $400
At this point I have some time to sleep on it and think since I wouldn't try to take on an endeavor like this until warmer weather makes it way back, which in Texas will be the end of February.

Seriously, save yourself time, frustration and money.
Mask off the areas you don't want painted/plastidipped/vinyl wrapped, and plastidip the part you DO. It comes in just about any color imaginable, and the glossifier will make it look just as shiny as your paint. Just as durable as vinyl, only MUCH less expensive.

ScotchPrint
I wrapped my 2009 Release Series 6 with black on the top over the original Absolutely Red. Used 3M Scotch Print vinyl gloss black with matte black on the roof. Turned out great. Did it myself because the local sign shop wanted $1,200 dollar. May have spend $300 dollars on materials. And 6 to 8 hours working a few hours at a time over several week ends. This material is very good quality and I am very pleased with the result. It takes some time to learn how to apply it without getting wrinkles. Had to add a pin strip to straighten out the line since I had to piece four section on each side - front fender, front door, rear door, rear quarter panel. Also spliced above the rear side windows. And, spliced the roof half way back. Good luck. Call me if you want to learn more. John 859-539-2407
