Un-Official Daytime Running Light Thread

All my DD's have had DRL's until I bought the XB 1 month ago. I knew that going into it & will not drive w/out DRL's (Its a safety thing

& I know they are not for everyone)
I thought about going w/ the Rostra LED's but at $350.00 or so, I kept looking until I came across a great product made by Philips:
Philips 12820WLEDX1 DayLight 4 High Powered Luxeon LED Daytime Running Light
The install is very close to plug & play. The pics dont do it justice, but they are bright white.

I know there are few threads discussing DRL's & for those that have added them please post up

Whats the length if there in inches?...and depth?

I think those would look better in the upper grill.

4.74" x .93" (The depth is not noted but I thinks its about 1") Heres the installation directions in PDF. Its a large file due to all the languages

BTW, Phillips also has an 8 LED system.
The Rostra lights are certainly a much better fitting system since they replace the vent covers
