ya quite a few people say they get tickets cause your tails are supposed to be amber. I will see what they say where I live... the cops here dont play very nice

 

most of the people get the tickets for tinted taillights is because it's not bright enough. the law have a requirement for the distance for people to see when you're braking. i got a fix it ticket for my 07 fit because it's tinted a little too dark. too bad i forgot whats the distance requirement.

 

personally if I get a fix it ticket its well worth it... I like the look so much more

 

California Vehicle Code:
24600(e) Taillamps shall be red in color and shall be plainly visible from all distances within 500 feet to the rear except that taillamps on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1969, shall be plainly visible from all distances within 1,000 feet to the rear.

Its on TRD's in that picture, and it can't go much lower on those 20x10's they were the wrong offset and even with 255's on the back it was shredding on my sprints
