Ok, Braddah Shawn of "Hard knocks customs" is doing the body work for me this morning, he got one side of the roof done, tomorrow the drivers side is next, in the next couple days the doors will be pau. It needs to be all pau by this weekend so it can be painted.

I went to the sign shop this morning to get the logos remade. The big show I have to be at is next sat July 13th, we leaving on Friday. 8 hour drive!

for the body work, he used some 8115, the same stuff that car makers use now days instead of welding , then fiber glass, then a thin layer of Bondo.

looks good bro but i hope he doesnt use a DA sander for absolutely everything. somethings you have to sand by hand for a perfectly flat service. also him keeping all those sanders up top on the roof make me cringe a bit. the number one thing they teach us in school is the car is NOT a work bench but damn bro its coming along VERY nice.

Mahalo brah! Yea, bad habits with the tools, he's old school, and doing me a huge favor, this is being done for free, its on him. How long you been going to school for this kind of stuff?

Aloha,
Ok, all primed and ready to be wet sanded. Tomorrow we begin working on the doors, then if everything goes as planned, it gets painted this weekend. then Sign O Rama in Schertz TX. will be remaking making my post office theme logo for the side and redo my Hawaiian tribal stripes. install the rest of the interior and windows, then on the 13th off to El Paso for the big car show!!

i would highly recommend the Redland area outside of oregon city in Clackamas County. its a more rural area and your only 20 minutes from any major town such as estacada (redneck central LOL) sandy, gresham, portland, oregon city. its a nice place man. there plenty of places out here for sale as well. some with 10+ acres. and very low crime rate. its really private out here. roads are in good condition, rivers are close buy for swimming and tubing. its a nice area to live in ive lived here my whole life not one complaint.

Ok, I detailed the hood and rear hatch area.........why? because as i mentioned in the beginning, I'm getting this ready for a huge Car show in El Paso on the 13th, this upcoming Sat. I no like risk damaging the fresh new paint job by accidentally cutting into the new paint while using my retailer, so do it first, then everything will be shines at the end!
The paint will be layed down This Monday Night.

I also went ahead and placed my sponsors logos in the places on my car they needed to be, theirs gonna be a photo shoot early the next morning after the car show.

after these pics, I'm not going to post up any more until next week Monday when I arrive back home, I'll have lots of pics from the event and photo shoot, only then you will see the finished project ok?

Mahalo for those who supported me through this what seems like a long journey, but in real, was only a few weeks.

Aloha Oi.
