SinZz already told where he got them from at the other thread. Worried about being "cool" or jealous that an 18 year old has them? Being the immature one, you can't possibly be 42 years old

http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvproduct.aspx?ItemGroupId=4&VehId=1142&Year=2008

Just got off the phone with these folks.. They ship out of Illinois is 3-4 days. & are IN-STOCK. BUT they are only available in "LIGHT" tint.. NOT dark... wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaa...... She also told me that there are no plans of yet to produce them in "DARK" tint....... The picture shows a generic shot NOT on a 08, but the part number is DIFFERENT from the 04-06's xBs... so she assures me that they are the real deal for the new body style... so ......... There you go...... Pesonally I am waiting for dark ones...... good luck..

If the price is right, I might buy these and tint them with 5% film

Well , I'd like to get them,. BUT I wonder if the 'light' tint job would look dookey on our Nautical Blues with the Black window trim?? What do you guys think.. Hold out for darker smoked tint or will the lighter gray tint look ok on this ride????? Please reply with your opinions.. All replies & comments are welcomed & encouraged... Light gray or dark smoke??? thanks to all who reply.... jh

Depending on how stiff they are or what they're made of, you could possibly tint them with the VHT niteshades taillight stuff.

Just an idea, ya know.

You could possibly use tinted clearbra. Regular tint would probably work better because of all the curves. I'd probably let them sit out in the sun, uninstalled, for a little while to make sure the tint is 100% stuck on. Only thing with regular window tint is keeping ammonia based cleaners away from it. From my understanding, ammonia is tint's worst enemy. It'll peel the tint right off. But I'm not sure if any regular cleaning products actually have ammonia.

well my tint guy says NO WAY! You cant use film tint on plastic. her says that when the plastic gets hit by the sun, it emits some gass(I forget the name) & it causes the film to bubble up & it wont last even a year..... sio I will look into that spray on stuff, exerv.......... thanks for the 'tip'... anyone else with an idea??? or should I leave it light tint??? jh
