Default 2009 Scion xB auto tranny/ no neutral, no reverse

Ok so I got a "new to me" 2009 xB...got a CEL that the SLT solenoid was stuck. I dropped the valve body checked all the solenoids (all were good) put it all back together and went for a test drive. When I put it in reverse the car went forward, in neutral it went forward...etc. I have no reverse and no neutral. What did I miss putting it back together? I appreciate any thoughts/help.

Yes everything lined up right. ..the only thing I'm not sure about is the larger shaft/plunger on the driver side front. I'm guessing it's the shifting "linkage" maybe it needs to be set in differently

Yes sir, that's exactly your issue, take another crack at it. place it in neutral then line it up.

Ok...now the solenoid code is gone, but now I got a speed sensor code. p0793. How hard is that to replace?

before you replace it, make sure all sensors and their connectors are connected.

It's on top of the tranny it should be underneath all of the air duct for the intake.

So i pulled both speed sensors. The output sensor looked fairly "weak" is the only word that I can think of to describe it. Both had solid connections and ohm tested correctly. I've ordered 2 new sensors hoping that will solve the problems.
