I think the whole "throttle control" is a joke any which way...

I already have a throttle control. I'm pretty sure every vehicle comes with one.

to prove a point this will let you have alot better throttle response i can floor my car i have a scan gauge the throttle is progressive so it takes a few seconds to make it go wide open say i floor it at 2000 rpms it will take upwards of 3 seconds before the tps throttle position to get over 89 and i have yet to see it hit 100 so who knows

If the throttle is opened at 100 percent from start would that cause any issues with how the car runs? Maybe its meant to open gradually?

yes it is but get a scan gauge you will be sad to know when your floor your car it is only oppening up like 60% your freeing up alot of power with this trust me

im pretty sure Toyota knows what they are doing. If you open the throttle all the way your going to let in more air (Obviously) and with out proper fuel management your going to lean out the mixture going into the engine and actually make less power.

the mass air flow sensor would read it not like you are adding arificial atmosphere i am boosted on the factory comp and if it can manage to add fuel and keep my afr at a decent level im sure it could handle a little butterfly opening slightly faster

let me be a middle man here. kittens has been known to not use punctuation... what he is trying to say is that he is running a turbo and using a scanguage (OBDII reader) he has discovered that the computer that controls the throttle never really likes to give you full throttle. by purchasing the blitz/toms throttle controller he can have a more linear throttle and achieve that full throttle so he can tune it i guess.

welcome back cory. hope you destroy every evo in the state

Well Put.

A friend of mine has one on his G35 and you DEF See a Big Difference when going from stock settiing than thru the 3-different modes def pull's hard. in my xB i think im gonna try it out every little bit counts. Im going for a NA set up for now till i can get my money right to follow in cory's foot steps by either Turboing my xB or maybe even a Supercharger kit. I know it's auto but just doing it for fun factor and for little eye candy not looking to break any Track records.
