Hi was just wondering if anyone has installed the Borla sytem for the 2008 xB? I want to buy one I am hoping its not a real loud system. Let me know what you guys think of it. Thanks Mars23z

At least with Borla its gonna be great quality and looks, and I dought it will sound like a bumbble bee. Anyway it looks like I am buying one so Ill let you guys know.

 

The price is right. I paid $375 shipped for my TRD which was too much, IMO. Oh well, I like the TRD tip better so I guess I got something for the extra $100.

 

i own the car that Borla used to design & test fit the rear section exhaust system. i have the prototype installed on my car. The exhaust is very quite on idle but when you accelrate past 3000 rpm.... u get a good exhaust note.

BTW...Borla has developed a dual exhaust rear section system. i'm waiting if they decide to produce production. I've seen the prototype and was fitted on my car, i liked it and what to switch to dual exhaust.

It looks ok. I like the round rectangle tip on the TRD better. I'm curious to hear the sound though.

Look's Great thinking about buying it for my 08 xB2 but wanna hear it first. If it sounds the same as the tC (cant see why not ) than im gonna place my order. Is there any pic's to show how the Dual kit looks on the XB 2???

 

hmm, u think its impossible for our xb's to expose the canister? I think mufflers look great with the canister, not with just some piping sticking out..

Just my opinion...

 

Anyone else notice that this exhaust is just a pipe that replaces our rear canister?

Im looking into getting the Dual Kit but still would love to see a pic of how it would look first.

Also Wanna hear it as well, i know it proble sounds like the tC kit but still would love to see the kit on an xB reveing it up!!!

 

The Scion Mall of GA demo xB has dual exhaust with a body kit that surrounds the tips. Looks awesome!
