Default Best Intake

Here's a link to our page that has the Injen and TRD Intakes on it. I don't know about the 'best' one, but here are two options and a little info.

There is the tons of different intakes now.

TRD- cold Air/Ram Air- Price $300-$359

AEM-Cold Air- Price $240-$299

Fujita-Cold Air- Price $200-$230

Injen-cold Air-Price $279-329

Tenzo-R-Cold Air- Price $130-$150

K&N- Short Ram- Not Sure

Wepon-R Short Ram-Price $180-up

AFE- Short Ram-$190 Up

I like the TRD cause of the bumper Vent, but dont feel it makes enuff of the air free flowing do to the BOX in the fender. I could be wrong. Im haveing a hard time picking one as well.

i have the Tenzo, i like it. as for the vent, you could always buy that part separate, if you could find it

Yeah between all of them I'd be really surprised if there is any performance difference between any of them. Of course someone would have to do dyno runs with each one to find out. Really they're all basically the same thing, some piping routed down with a filter down in the fender. Except the TRD because it has an airbox down in the fender instead of the open filter. There's not much variation a company could do to make one better than another.

I'm happy with my AEM intake. I got it barely used for a great price, which is the only reason I got it when I did.

The hydroshield and the bypass thing are a good idea if you plan on using the TRD grill. With an open filter down there, I'd be a little worried with the TRD grill, since water will have a straight shot to the filter. Otherwise the fiter is pretty concealed from any water where it sits.

Thats how i feel,

I feel the Tenzo intake with the TRD Vent and the Hydro Sheild alonge with the AEM Bypass Will be a Great Combo Setup. Direct Free flowing Air into the Filter.
