Default clarification anybody?

ok...so i have two conflicting sources of information.

fastscions is selling a cat-back strup exhaust

wellsellcarparts told me:

Strup is axle-back only. I am unaware of any cat-backs for the 09 XB...

Thanks
Dan

can anyone tell me which is true and which is false?

they both have the same picture so i can't tell which one is the correct information.

Thanks

Why don't you go to the manufacturer's site and find out how they describe it? If you're still not sure, then email or phone them!

It is a catback, I have seen it in person. It goes from the scuba tank (which is a catalytic converter/resonator hybrid) to the end, which classifies it as a catback.

Dan may be unaware, but the Strup is a true cat-back that includes the mid-pipe.

Magnaflow makes a true cat-back:
http://www.streetperformance.com/par...591-16787.html

The Tsudo Fireball dual exhaust is also a true cat-back ($299 with free shipping from Speed Element):
http://www.speed-element.com/servlet/Detail?no=878

That should clear it up.

I have the Tsudo exhaust and just love it! But i also like the Strup as well. The Strup is the same as the Tsudo its a cat back but for some reason they call it an axle back. If your order the strup its def a cat back trust me!!

I feel like he ignores every post I make. I have seen the exhaust in person, and seen it installed in person. It is a catback....

I owned this exhaust and would not consider this a cat back by any means. It is a mid pipe + the axle back. It does not remove the pipe that contains the scuba. The scuba i am pretty sure is just a resonator. There is a cat right after the exhaust manifold. So that is why i would not consider this a cat-back system. So for me to call this a cat-back, it would have to remove all the piping from the cat back. Which it does not.

Actually there is a cat in the scuba tank so we actually have 2 cats and the Strup truly is a cat-back.

BTW, what've you been up to lately, buddy? You still getting dyno tuned soon? I'm looking forward to updates on your progress.
