Default Engine Splash Shield Installation?

So, I bought this Engine Splash Shield for my son's 2nd xB and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to install it.
Holes don’t seem to line up, has anyone had to replace this? Any tips or videos? Seems like it would be pretty straight forward. 🤦🏻‍♂️😳

I would love a tutorial on this exact one. I couldn't get the holes to line up either and I am sure it's a user error.

Is it upside-down in this photo?

PartsGeek appears to show it flipped over.

I actually installed this and the other piece for the splash shield on mine recently. I bought the same ones on the same site. Not all of the holes lined up perfectly. Make sure the important ones fit and you should be fine. Mine has been fine the past few weeks.
