Motor mount. It's a stiffer unit than the OEM piece. It will act similarly to an engine dampener. I think. But this will make it so you can transfer torque to the wheels and ground more effectively.

Default mount

This will not act like a damper, just the opposite, you may feel more engine vibration. OE mounts absorb some of the vibration, this may amplify it, these are good for competition but maybe not so good for every day use. Just as urethane bushings help a suspension work better but deliver a stiffer ride, these should work the same.

I was actually speaking of the Weapon-Arrgh! engine dampener and the Ingalls "Stiffy". Those, too, add additional noise and vibration. :D
So, this will act similarly.
:D

It's almost like solid motor mounts on an old Chevy.

i have the stiffy and you get alot of valve thain noise. i added polyurthane washers i cut from aenergy suspention bushing and it made it more tollerable.as long as there is metal to metal you will get noise.[the bolts]i will try this motor mount because there might be no metal to metal.

A engine damper is more compared to having all of the mounts replaced.
This single mount should have less vibes and be more comfortable to the daily drivers than a engine damper.
Usually the extra vibes from an single mount is un-noticed unless you pointed it out.

Can these be picked up locally?
