Anyone running headers or a throttle body spacer on their XB2? if so what kind are you using?

If the xB2 engine responds anything like the tC engine (which it should) a throttle body spacer is absolutely useless. I think there was a dyno from a tC before and after where the tC actually LOST hp from one.

 

FYI -- an inline engine only has room for one header not multiple like a V-6 or V-8 (hence the V's get headers)

Quite a few people have installed a header on their xB2, try a search for Strup, WeaponR, whatever. For that matter, try searching on "header".

 

TB Spacers don't do much on FI cars. They used to do stuff on carb'd cars, allowed a little more time for the fuel to atomize.
