Default Increasing Mileage on a 2012 xB

Before you jump down my throat I DID try the search function with poor results.

I currently have a 2006.5 xB but I want to upgrade to a 2012. As everyone has said gas mileage is poor and I want to know what I can do to help.

Increasing tire pressure and bigger tires for lower RPM are obvious.

Can a UNI chip help ? Are there any other "tuning" chips which can be set to increase mileage rather than performance. Keep in mind my current xB has a whole 105 HP

TIA
Bobb

When I had my first xB it was a 2011 and I put a KN Typhoon intake on it and I went from 24 average to 26 MPG. I know that's not a huge increase but the extra power was also a nice bonus.

Unichip won't increase your mileage but it does make a nice improvement in partial throttle power with mods. I like mine. Biggest thing to getting good mileage in the 2nd gen is being very light on the pedal and keeping the rpms down to 2000 or less. Way to boring for how I like to drive but it does let you sip gas a lot better.
