Default New addition to my semi-clean engine bay

I got a little gift.....

It sounds great, and the car definately revs up much faster. I turned off the traction control and took it for a test drive and using the butt dyno it felt like a big improvement.

I absolutely <3 my TRD.

Plus, I have more room for a second battery!

I would like the TRD even more if it was metal all the way to the air inlet box, instead of using the rubber coupler piece, but oh well.
It still looks good and sounds good. Next up is the TRD exhaust, and then I might think about headers if someone can get a set of CARB approved ones (cali emissions regulations blow donkey *****).

Nice oil cap. I never liked polished intakes. It just looks so out of place.

I dont really care how it looks. As long as it outperforms the other intakes on the market it could be pink and I'd still rock it.

The only thing I dont care for on the TRD intake is how high it comes. It goes over the battery, Where the Fujita one goes around the battery and stays much lower in the motor. I looked at the TRD originally and almost went that route. Now that I am using the Fujita I have been super happy.

IN regards to a review:
The intae has been working very well. Nice, deep growl when accelerating hard. My mpg's went up by about 1 mpg (as long as I dont drive it hard). The best part is that it carries the TRD brand, so warranty should not be too hard of an issue.
The install took me about an hour and 15 with no air tools and a pump jack. Besides that there was nothing to it.
If anyone needs one, buy it from coryjames used, he is offereing it at a great price and I would have got mine from him if my fiancee had not suprized me with this 1.
