New Header & CAI
I am new to the scion life. So I would like to know where is a good place to buy a cold air intake that won't give me any cel or smog issues?
And I would also like to know about a complete header back exhaust that will not give me any smog issues.
Header included in my question?
Thanks for your guys time.

The most certified cold-air intake is from TRD, which is CARB friendly.
Currently, there is no header that is CARB friendly. Some might advocate using Strup or Weapon-R as excellent header choices. For exhausts, TRD makes a CARB friendly one, too.
You can look at a lot of these parts at http://www.trdsparks.com

My very strong recommendation is to spend time reading the online threads associated with your topics of interest (use the search feature), and then ask questions to help you fill in any gaps. These topics have been discussed so much, it's really time to read first and ask questions later.

Shove it dude -- just because you have a question doesn't mean everyone has to drop everything and regurgitate the same tired old stuff to you. There's nothing stopping you from showing a little initiative and personal responsibility, not to mention a little respect for the rest of the forum members. The forum provides a wealth of information. You have the opportunity to explore it and discover your own answers, and that's definitely the way to go!

By the way. Where are you located. We can meet up and you can give the rules of the forum in person. Let me know if u want to do that. Thanka

Ok man. I said drop everything and answer my question. Nobody is telling you to regulate the forum and make sure everybody searches before they ask a question. If you don't want to help. Don't help. So like I said thanks for your worthless .02.

@dsimp13: Word of advice, David, you don't get good help if you snap at people. Trevor was merely directing you to find other threads about your question, considering they have in-depth information that might answer more questions you have. And if you snap at me, I'm going to lock myself in my bathroom and cry in the darkness.

[QUOTE=CIONIDE;3998733]This is a public forum, if you post here, it becomes everybody's business...
you can stop your internal dialogue now; you're wrong, get over it.[QUOTE]
Your absolutely correct, but if you don't want to answer a question then don't. Don't run your mouth on what I should be asking on here.
So how am I wrong?

Ease up man, you're not going to get a lot of members valuable advise and experience if you call out everyone. By all means, do use the Search feature but, if you don't care to, at least don't immediately bite (or alienate) the hands that YOU want to feed YOU...
CAIs, along with free-er flowing exhausts, have been a long known relatively low cost step in improving engine performance. And you will hear the better breathing slightly Personally, I'm not a fan of TRD's new CAI, which still utilizes the lower part of the OEM airbox. I like the big K&N-style filters and smoother velocity stack runs like the 1st-gen TRD or Weapon-R units, etc.
