Default NEW FROM NST: Scion xB2 Short Shift Kit!

Hey gang!

After a very long wait, our new SSK for the xB2 is finally in production!
The NST Engine-Bay SSK should be ready for sale by mid November.

MSRP: Roughly $120.00
Group Buy Price: $98.00
Reduction in throw: Roughly 40%
Target release date: Mid November
Hard anodized color options: Red & Graphite Gray

Would anyone here be interested in a discounted group buy? 12 or more members would need to be willing to sign up, pre-pay at a discounted rate, and wait till mid Nov. to receive their new NST SSK.

Anyone interested?

What makes this different over the TRD one? I see this one is 2 pieces. TRD was 1 piece.

I will have MUCH better pics over the next few days if anyone is interested.
I might be interested. It really depends what our actual cost will be. Also what is the estimated cost for the red anodized kit?

I was just looking at the TRD kit today at TRDSPARKS and it also appears to be a two piece kit.

What would make this kit better than the TRD one?

No real insentive to buy. Extremely long time in coming with many promises. Price almost same as TRD. I'll go with factory product.

The TRD Kit is a great kit and would be a very good buy.

The NST Kit is HARD ANODIZED making it a bit stronger and more durable in the long run.

The NST Kit is offered in a choice of colors.

The NST Kit has a lower MSRP and the GB price would be even lower.

NST has sponsored ScionLife since 2005 and will continue to do so into the future.

Good luck and have fun with all your projects everyone!

Thanks to the guys at NST for supporting our cars. I have the underdrive pulley and shifter bushings. They are wonderful. I would support them before TRD stuff. Just my opinion. If i had the money I would buy this kit.

My previous post was not meant to knock NST. They do a great job supporting us.

I like the product and I like being able to get it in red, but I don't think I want to lay out the cash for something now, that won't be available for another month or so. If there wasn't anything available like it, then I think you would be getting more interest, but since TRD has one available and it's very close to the same price, I think people might just go with the sure thing. Maybe if the group buy price was a little more enticing! <grin>

How many people are needed for a group buy and what would the GP price be about.
Depending on how much it is I may put my name down. Also these will work with your shifter bushings correct?

The competition does not offer you colors, they do not offer you a GB discount, they do not pay to support your forum, they do not sponsor your forum's drivers, and your events/meets/shows.

Buy what you are comfortable with... but please, do not knock our product, our service, and our efforts to help provide your community with excellent products and excellent discounts.

Let's not be so paranoid. Nobody has or is knocking your product, your service, your company, or your efforts. Just because a couple of people said that they didn't want to pre-pay for your product, doesn't mean that we don't like it. As a matter of fact, I like your product a lot and if it was available now, I would be sporting a red SSK in my RS6 as we speak.
