u dont "need" any lol but u can use the liteweight crank or the underdrive crank... one or the other. and u can do the liteweight waterpump pulley, as for the alternator, i really dont think it can work on the new xb for multiple reasons, but mike at nst claims it can...

actually if ud like to get the alternator pulley shoot me an offer and maybe ill sell it...

so it would be an overkill to get the lightweight crank and underdrive crank?

no... they replace the same pulley, u either get the liteweight one or the underdrive one... the underdrive is supposed to let u rev up a little faster and so on, but some people think over time it may cause damage to ur engines internal parts, and the lightweight is the same diameter as stock just alot lighter, which lets the motor rev up more easily...

NST02020 Underdrive Crank Pulley is the one pulley that will provide the MOST possible gains. This pulley is designed for either naturally aspirated or turbocharged applications. This pulley requires the use of a new belt.

NST02148 CR-Lite Crank Pulley is also a great pulley and is compatible with naturally aspirated, turbocharged, AND supercharged applications. This is an OEM diameter crank pulley and is compatible with the OEM belt.

NST02025K is our Alternator and Water Pump Pulley Kit. These pulleys are lightweight replacements for the OEM pulleys and will provide further improvements in throttle response and power delivery.

So you would need to select EITHER NST02020 or NST02148, and you could also add NST02025K to complete the set.

Please feel free to call us should you need more info... 281-917-0221.

Good luck!

I highly suggest the 20% Underdrive Crank Pulley. Very very well worth the money that it is.

The power is more readily available from the go and at highway speeds. I've actually noticed about a 1 MPG increase in my fuel economy as well. Don't really know what to attribute that to, but its been like that ever since I put my pulley on.

The increase in MPG comes from the reduced weight of the pulleys, and the fact that less power is being sent to drive the accessories = underdrive!

And yes, the Alt and WP Pulleys are also noticeable. These pulleys are roughly 70% lighter than the OEM pulleys they replace, and lead to better throttle response and quicker acceleration.
