what is the average cost to have a lsd installed vs. diy. I have some basic knowledge of how to do it just not sure on setting lsd to proper specs so i dont blow the trans apart.

 

I recall a couple people that dropped their transmissions themselves and brought their tranny to have an LSD installed in which they paid $400 to have it done. Not sure of the difficulty of doing it yourself, but I hear installing a multi plate type is more difficult than a helical type.
