scuba delete - low end torque
You really expect the choice between 4-1 and 4-2-1 header to reduce rasp? I'm convinced, you're purely noise, no knowledge whatsoever! I surely hope no one falls for your nonsense! What a crock of sh|t.

No, I choose the 4-2-1 for the torque. And HOPE for less rasp. the 4-1 on a 2.4 (dc sports) we installed on a friends tc destroyed the clean sound of his exhaust. The car feels better in the high end, but just sounds awful.
Never once did I say "I'd go with the 4-2-1 because it WILL create less exhaust rasp".

To even "hope" for less rasp demonstrates a lack of understanding. Yet you present yourself an authority and put down others (ScionFred despite you having no xB turbo experience). Hopefully other members of this site will be more circumspect. I hope you enjoy your xB, but I see no reason why any other owner should give your opinion special creedence!

For one, I stated an opinion and personal preference.
Two, anger issues much?
Three, never did I put down someone's turbo build or try to discredit anyone works.
Four, when did I "put down others"?
You fly off the handle for no reason. Just because someone has a different opinion than you, or would choose to go a different route, is no need to go nutzo. I've just re-read everything I've posted lately, and not once have a I put down anyone else, or give anything but an opinion. The way you are acting is the reason why I don't visit this forum very often.

Whatever you say dude, let the forum members decide for themselves. The OE wideband O2 sensor on the stock xB2 is part of your answer. It's up to others not me. As I said, hope you enjoy your xB2, it's a good machine! If you choose not to return, it's hard for me to view that as a loss to the forum.
That sounds fantastic bud! I wish mine sounded about like that. I'm wanting a Tsudo mid pipe to help muffle mine down a bit so I figured I'd get some other opinions. First off here's my current setup: Tsudo 4-2-1 header, catted s-pipe, scuba replaced with 26 inch CherryBomb glasspack followed by a 12 inch glasspack (not connected to the OEM midpipe), and Borla dual axleback with no mufflers. It sounds good, but is highly annoying and drone like on the freeway...I can't enjoy music or a nice conversation with it. Does anyone think replacing the big glasspack with the Tsudo will help me dampen it a little?

You have the Silver xB2 on youtube rite? Man you have an amazing list of mods and car moves very well!
Now for the exhaust b4 i added the Scuba delete the exhaust was deep and the sound inside was low. Now with the Scuba delete added to my Tsudo exhaust it changed a lot. Much more aggressive and the sound inside changed, normal pedal action and low speeds it was nice but on the highway it was def louder. What i did was i found my Tsudo silencers for the exhaust and now no more drone. Nice aggressive sound and no highway drone and felt no loss of power.
In your case i'm not sure weather it would be better , same or worse....
Haha yup, that's the one! Okay, well I'm assuming it'd be about the same after hearing that. How big is the scuba by comparison to the factory scuba? If it's basically just the same as a canister axle back muffler I don't think it'll help me much, but Tsudo is the only company that makes a mid pipe for our cars, and I'm hesitant to just bring it to a muffler shop and have them back away at my mid pipe again. I don't know, I'll keep looking in on it, thanks for your input though!

As you know the factory Scuba is HUGE!!!! The Tsudo is big as well but from what they told me its a free flowing performance resonator. Factory has 2 cats and resonator if i'm correct or something along those lines.
Okay cool. Well the pipe into the Tsudo says it's 2.25 inches, where as my cherry bomb is 2.5. Also the CherryBomb's fiberglass filled part is only about 1/4 of an inch thick all the way around. The tsudo looks to have around an inch or so all the way around, but it's not as long. I have no idea, haha that's what I get for piecing my exhaust together slowly. I'll get it figured out though
