not raspy or loud at all. I was very surprised. its only slightly louder than whe i had the scuba and duals... and there is a nice power increase and it made the car more driveable, less like it wanted to choke...toyota really corked up that 2.4!

I am thinking of getting the same exhaust. Would you recommend it and did it improve HP? Also dont want something loud...

I know many threads have been posted on Scuba delete. Beware, once you remove it will be LOUD!! I have strup headers. Small cat and flowmaster muffer (hushpower) in place of scuba. Then tsudo duals with trumpets. It's loud, not law breaking loud, but at 70 MPH it really wears on you.

until i got a ref ticket, now i run with stock muffler still sounds nice tho =)

o btw, save that reso list price is 800$ cuz its catted and you wont pass a ref station with out it =)

im running the strup header and the header back cx racing 3" exhaust no cats #1 or #2(scuba tank) as its called it has the same type resonator as jdmtoybb has on his just 3" yea its a bit loud even with the baffle in with no cats but the power band is well improved no tickets for noise in 10 months so far and the faster i go the less the noise so i drive it like i stole it! and thats not easy to do in virginia

and yea i still have the stock set up in my garage from head to tale

oh and toyota inspects my vehichle no emissions tests here, try that at a local inspection place here,or even try to have a muffler shop take ur cat off aint gonna happen
