Default TRD Exhaust

Does anyone has this issue?

I bought the car from the dealer and the TRD exhaust is not balanced. Meaning the left side of the exhaust is closer to the bumper then the right side?

It could be that it is not pushed into one of the rubber mounts all the way and it is causing it to sit funny.

I'll check this out today.
Thanks!

but i have noticed there is room to move around the muffler with the rubber mounts....also check they way they bolted down the muffler as well....if a person installs it by himself it is kinda hard to get the muffler to line up perfectly straight. it is definitely a two man job.

does this exhaust do anything to improve the performance...or just the sound/looks.

I like my stock exhaust tip just fine, but would be interested in the TRD exhaust if it actually improves the performance...if it does...how so?

i'm about to get a TRD CAI and have been told they go hand-in-hand w/ exhaust..."car breaths more in....needs to breath mroe out"....

thoughts please?

The TRD axle-back adds 1-2whp and sounds a little better. Still not worth the price unless you're getting it for the look and sound. IMO the best engine mods short of F/I are:

CAI - 8-10whp
header - 5-10whp
full exhaust (scuba delete) 5-10whp(?)
lite and/or UD crank pulley - 2-4whp

The whp figures are my best guesses based on XB and TC dyno results I've seen. A few peeps are running a full 2.5" ebay exhaust and seem to like it. That would add a lot more whp per $ than the TRD.

Hardly a 2 man job. Just leave the bolts loose, attach the hangers and then tighten the bolts.

try readjusting the rubber mounts. That can sometimes cause it to tilt or be unalligned
