I agree, leave it to the hackers or honda heads to take out the front crash bar!
You do not have to remove your crashbar, you do have to trim a bit of your bumper cover. Very minimal triming though. I still like the sidemount.

yeah, but IMO cutting the entire front grille out is more than minimal trimming. Don't get me wrong the front mount looks great but we are taking a little different approach at things with these Turbo Kits. We have put a lot of our efforts in trying to offer our customers a turn-key solution that requires minimal amount of work. Your xB looks good thought. I like it! :-)

Thanks, I had to only trim the bottom a bit I have not even tried to make the grill fit. I know its not for everyone, I actually really like your kit, had it been around sooner I would have probably went for it.

On a side note, where did you guys mount your fic, does your harness extend it into the cabin?

Yes, everything is mounted inside the cabin of the vehicle. I will post pictures from our installation manual soon. :-)

actually...no, because when you cut the area out to do a front mount intercooler you eliminate the opportunity to utilize or retain the OEM Toyota Fog light kit. The DESCENDANT kit doesn't interfere with any OEM Accessories & requires much less cutting.

Honestly we have not done an Auto Scion xB 2nd-Gen yet, but we are confident that things will be fine because of our success with the Auto Scion tC's which are currently roaming the streets of L.A. ;)

On this current side mount intercooler set-up we have made over 350WHP 11-12psi. It works extremely well for such a small package.
