We drag racing

coryjames-Do you know who has or claims to have the quickest 2nd Gen xB in the quarter mile??

I haven't seen any drag race style xB's yet, but heard of an ALL-MOTOR one coming out soon!

Chris has been hinting around that he wants to start driving the beast on the street again...

i dont know i might have that fastes non shop owned xb on 3.6 pounds i ran a 14.56 with a very bad 60ft of a 2.6. hard to plant even that to the ground with just 225s i need some more tire for sure now we but down 360ftpounds and 340whp on a 8 psi spring running e85 and i havent added in that much timing from my gas tune but i have maxed out my 900cc injectors almost time to go bigger. My car is also daily driven i havent really seen any one else go crazy with the xb2 but you guys and me maybe there is someone out there thats not on the boards

well i'll tell you right now my box is probably the fastest non-shop owned xb. 8 lbs and 300 whp. haven't taken it to the track yet, but i'd expect low 13s. I've been getting good at keeping traction with my neogens.

lookin forward to seeing what you're gonna do cory. i need to be inspired to go any faster haha

here is one of my slower runs from the other day wind was a big factor i lost alot of stuff out of my car the spare tire got blown away it was on the ground winds were gusting into the 70mph range with about 40-50mph sustained
soon i will be running the world racing tbc-1 boost controler maybe i wont spin slicks through first and second notice the smoke flowing off the tires at the line cant wait to have some better controll over my boost
also i hit the brakes was bracket racing lol

yes the intake many is another crucial part. Maybe once i have the boost controller and intake mani i will be hitting 11s thats my goal till i hit it. then 10s no that will be a hard one.

I don't have any experience with the E85 fuel but if you could throw a 50 shot on the big end that could be the difference between 11's & 10's

Hell yeah...150 shot should wake it up! You'd be better off running less NOS & more boost but either way should do it!!

As for a cage I believe it's 11.99 or faster for a 4 point & 10.99 or faster for a 6 point...then it would be 150mph installs a parachute!

If you can't find anyone you trust locally you can always bring it here to the WORLD-Motorsports West Race shop in Torrance. We have a full machine & fabrication race shop where we could easily knock it out.

I got a good buddy that builds cages here. Hit me up if you're interested. He charges a little bit, but they're stout.
