Default TRD Cold Air Intake 08 xB

This will be available in about 6 to 8 weeks. A new design using a flat panel air filter inside a new TRD Airbox rather than the regular cone type filter. Nice throaty sound on full throttle. Comes with the a sleek vent that replaces the factory one. And the best part is it is 50 State Legal.

I was wondering the same why it's listed in here.

I installed this kit on my xB and it's very easy. Does have a very nice sound to it.

My mind is made up, I was thinking about the AEM intake. However, TRD is what I'm going to get. Designed for the car, by Toyota. I just got my xB on Sunday, and I love it!

ordered mine but just a question. Does trd or someone else make a duct to match the one on the drivers side for the passenger side? Thanks for any input.

I've been looking at this thing. How does the little vent bring the outside cold air in when the box is closed off? Is the box not fully closed all the way around? I assume the little vent hooks on the side of the box where the air filter is!!?I cant tell much about it because I have only seen a few pics of it.

Let us know trdpaul

there is a opening on the top of the rear half of the box. the filter box is made of two pieces. one piece is where the pipe and filter are on. and the second/rear half has an open top. so essentially the intake sucks air behind the filter box.

Hmmm well I want one, and it looks really nice. But I would like to get some more reviews on it before I make the purchase.

Can anyone in here that has one give me more insight on this piece? How he install went, how it compares to throttle response and so on. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Keith
