Default TRD superchargered

Not sure if this is the appropriate category to post my introduction, but since my new 2008 "pre-owned" ride came with the SC and other TRD bits, I figured it makes sense.

Been feeding $600-$800 / month on gas to my monster Tundra, so figured it best to get a more fuel efficient vehicle as my daily driver. Found an BSP 08' w/ TRD SC, exhaust, rims, and springs. Picked it up last week and been saving mucho $ with the much better mpg! Going for a sporty VIP hybid look.

Mods so far:
1. 50% on sides and 25% on the windshield.
2. Buddy at Axis hooked me up with a 19" EXE staggered setup: 8.5 F & 9.5 R with 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 rubber.
3. Cf shorty antenna.
4. Broadway 300mm mirror.

Mod bug has hit hard, as I have ordered a ton of bits in the past few days.

Next:
1. Kenwood NAV, reverse camera, Dynamat, and audio.
2. Clazzio diamond stiched seat covers with matching suede headliner and pillars.
4. LED swap out, exterior door LED mod, LED side marker, LED footwells.
5. Halo headlamps, LED tail lights, LED turn signals.
6. Paint interior trim.
7. 55W 7000K HID hi & reverse / 35W lo / 3000K fogs.

More pics to follow as the build evolves.

Cleaned up and purdy! 50% on sides and 25% tint on the front is perfect for me. Notice the more aggressive rear deep dish! Stance is a bit higher than I would like, but as a daily driver, better keep it this way.

There was early on for the gen-2, but they had lots of problems and Toyota was losing its shirt on the warranty repairs, so it was discontinued a long time ago.

So far so good, but too early to say as I've only gone through 2 tanks of fuel. I purchased the 7 yr / 100K extended warranty, so I'm not worried about it. It sounds super whiney, and the tin box construction doesn't help. However, I test drove a "stock" xb before pulling the trigger, and the off the line torque is like day and night. A full Dynamat treatment is on top of my priority list.

Unless you've particular concerns, I'd guess either Tanabe NF210 or Eibach ProKit springs would be both safe and a fine ride/appearance upgrade. Also, if you haven't installed a rear sway bar, that's worth serious consideration .

Actually running TRD springs with stock shocks. Now if I can score a great deal on some coilovers...! Looking into sway bar as we speak.

If this was a few months ago, I'd say to go with the ScionPro coilovers. They were going for around $700 but now I think they're up to $1100 or $1200 since production is in full swing. A really versatile kit tho (.5" - 3" drop).

Thanks STCxB! Going to end up buying a buddy's K-sport coilovers...so many mods, so little time!

Got the halo headlamps and grill in. 8K HID for lo beams, and 55W HID for high. Also installed real cf pillar laminate. Will take some night shots as the rings are super bright.

Also installed LED tail lights. Had them sprayed with clear & a drop of black to "smoke" it out. Did the reverse lamp at the same time. btw, 35W HID in the reverse!

Got the Kenwood Nav...it rocks! Avionix amps pushing Infinity Kappas in front and back. Still deciding on which woofers to go with. Also Dynamat the doors...makes a huge difference in sound deadening.
