I can't figure out how to take my unit off shuffle. I am listening to audiobooks so this is a real problem. This this is a 2010 xb with alpine radio and iPod touch 3.

I have the alpine IDA-X305 in my 08 xb. If its like mine you press the function or F button. It will go into a menu with repeat shuffle and a couple other things as well. just select shuffle and it will give you the option to turn it off. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks so much! I called alpine about it and they suggested I do a hard reset of my ipod touch 3 and that worked!

 

Well, I thought the problem was solved. Made it through 29 chapters of an audiobook with no problem, then it jumped to chapter 59 towards the end of the book. This is so bizarre. No one at the dealership or alpine has heard of this happening. My ipod is out of warranty, but I am not convinced it is the ipod's problem.

 

check to make sure that the "shuffle" feature is turned off on the music playback screen. this one gets me all the time. it's the icon right under "2:15" on the upper right hand side of the screen:
