the xm antenna will be more likely to have bad reception mounted under the dash.. it will probably cut out or have low signal reception
I have my SIRIUS antenna mounted right behind my sharkfin antenna... haven't had any problems

i have my sirius antenna by the front corner of the passenger side. i had it on the inside, but reception sometimes cut out on me. i put it on the outside on the cowl by the fender and havent had any problems yet.
I put mine right next to the front driver side... works fine

in is on the front center of the dash towards the bottom of the windshield. the wire was snaked through the back of the dashboard... some people who ride often in my car dont even recognize it being there until i tell them
Don't put your Sat. Radio antenna under the dash. My lazy ___ stereo installer did that and I get dropouts all the time. It is very obnoxious.
