Default Beeping Noise

Is there anyway to turn off the beeping noise or shorten the beeping noise for the seat belts? The non stop beeping for 30 seconds is a bit much...

Your passenger seat should have a sensor for this very reason. I've heard of people going to walmart and getting a little seatbelt extender (for bigger people & those with little one's on the way.) Just clip it in like you would a seatbelt and you can be that ORGAN DONOR that CIONIDE said.

don't think you guys understand I like wearing my seat belt it feels weird not to and I make sure all people who ride in my car wear one. I just want to know if there's a way to turn the beeping off or decreasing the amount of beeps. especially when I just drop some one off at their house and I drive off after the person in shotgun leaves. It gets annoying driving for the some odd seconds listening to beeping over the radio

I don't think it should beep anymore after the passenger gets out of the car if you have your seat belt on because of the weight sensor in your passenger seat the seat should recognize that there is no longer someone seated there. that sensor will also turn off the airbag if there is someone sitting down which is under the weight limit for the airbag.

It just takes a while for the passenger classification system to reset when someone leaves the seat, I say just put up with the beeping or chill for a few minutes after you drop someone off.

Sounds like you just answered your own question. Put the car in park before the passenger unbuckles and get's out... no more beep.

If you take it to the dealer, they can turn it off. I bought a 2011 and I had them turn it off. It is under Customize in the TechStream (their computer).
