came across a 10W7 for hella cheap ($200), and i need a sealed box for my xb2! i'd like to preserve as much trunk space as possible, anyone know a box that would fit my W7 needs and preserve some trunk space?

I've got the 8w7. i can tell you they like ported boxes a lot better than sealed, and they need a lot of air. If you want to save trunk space, this isn't the sub for you. Best bet would be to go custom out of 3/4" MDF. Make something top firing, with the back angled to fit the rear seat back. Have it go all the way to the back edge of the trunk but only take up one side, so you can still use the fold down seat on the other side.

have any friends who can build a box? Wouldn't be worth it to have an audio shop to do it, box would cost you more than the sub.
