Default Dash light color mod?

I got the Voodoo Blue 2011 Release Series 8.0. It has nice blue accents throughout BUT orange glowing dash... Anyone change out the stock orange glow for another color? Say blue?

I did this mod to my old 96 Corolla with much hackjobery... Is there a way to change the lights other than smashing bulbs and installing Walmart cig lighter powered LEDs literally on top of them?

Nice! Too bad this is for a 2nd gen...

There are LED swap threads for 2nd gens. Not too difficult, I've done two. However, you'll need a different gauge face. The OEM gauge face is orange. So no matter what color you use, light will still be transmitted as orange.

HVAC are T4 neo wedge bulbs, three total.

The reast take PLCC-2 saurface mount LEDs. You need to de-solder the original lights from the circuit board for the dash and solder the new ones in their place. On a 2008-10 it takes 3 for the clock, 6 for the speedo, and 2 for each of the gauges. Not sure on the 2011-15 but should be similar.

Take into account that even if you change the ones for the gauges that the actual gauge is orange so the light still shines though an orange number/letter. If you want a different color for the gauges you need to get new gauge faces made and then generally you want to use white LED to light them up correctly.
