Is it just me or do every DD unit stick out? Im talking about the DD not being flushed with the dash.

 

you can modify them to sit flush..just need to use some brain and you will figure it all out on where to put your side brackets to make it look flush

 

Use the Schoshe Install kit #SCN4200B made for our cars. It's adjustable to let the headunit sit flush with the dash.

this is pretty good. i bet the install will look clean but if someone was to break in and try to steal the stereo i think the plastic tab would just break. although the other kit isn't flush with the dash it uses the metal bracket from the original stereo which make it harder to break. i guess there is a trade off. it just my opinion. my car was broken into they tried to steal it but couldn't. my friend with an aftermarket stereo had a kit with plastic tab and they just broke it and stole the whole radio.
