Default An Electurcional question

All,

I just fininshed an enclosure for my sub, and even added a little recessed area for my amp in it. It looks cool, and will post some pics when I have time. My question is this; I have some of these tiny blue neon lights laying around, and want to add them to the inside of the area where my amp be at. I was wondering if I could tap into the sensing wire for the amp and use it's magical ability to know when the car is running to get power to these. I am lazy and it is such an after thought I really don't feel like running dedicated wiring all the way back to them and tie them into something else up front. Would this cause problems, or is this a feasable idea? Thank all of you for taking the time to read my ramblings.

L8r,

an easy way to do it would have a relay on the remote power on wire, and run the power off the same way the amp gets power.

thats the easiest way I can think of doing it.
