So I searched, and only found one post that came close to what I was looking for about the factory Ipod connection in the armrest. I was just wondering if maybe someone had actually tapped into the connectors and turned that factory cable connection into an Iphone charging port instead of using the cigarette lighter. Of course the hard part is to find out which is the positive and negative of the connection and 12 volt power if there is any that runs to that externally. If nobody has done it, that is going to make for a fun project. Since I am running an aftermarket deck and use my other ipod connection for my actual Ipod to listen to music, and would like to be able just to charge my phone from somewhere other than the cigarette lighter socket.
