Default Factory leather interior?

HI,
I'm noob to scion and lately i have been hesitated to pick up all new 08 xb. while looking around @ the cerritos scion, ca. i came across w/ one black automatic w/ leather seat w/ "scion" embroid on the center. i don't see as an option on-line or anywhere else. i was wondering if this is customize work done by the dealer? also, how much is it?

Hey!!! I have a 08 xB2 Super White with All Black Leather. I did not want the 2 Tone. Cost me $700.00 and two tone was $1,200. A friend of my works for scion and they had a place they delt with that makes the Skin's for the 08 Seats.

leather isn't a factory option.
it's all contracted work with dealerships and such...

so it's an option available from the dealer.

^ Correct not a factory option, only dealer option. Leather sucks IMO, hard to maintain and keep looking good & won't last as long as cloth.

Yep factory does not offer leather. I got mine done as a dealer add on for $1300.

I was going to do all black but the interior is so dark i wanted to try 2 tone and lighten up the inside.
Also make sure whoever does the seats make sure they are aware you have side airbags in the seats and can guarantee they will still work.

I know Clazzio makes leather seat covers for our cars. They're a sponsor on here. I was looking at pics of them, and I've never seen a cover fit so well. I'd never guess they were covers. There is a local guy that has them in his tC. I'm gonna check them out this weekend.

^^ These seat covers were bought from Clazzio. They aren't leather but leather like and the center gray portion of the seats are perforated and is made of some sort of vinyl material to stretch over the existing fabric. They are a tight fit and most ppl cant tell that they are seat covers. They set me back 500 bux but i love them.

ninja929 where did you get the cf upper door pad. I was thinking about doing something like that but cloth or leather to match the rest of the interior (what ever that may be)...Im interested in the cf or painted version.
thanks

I'm just curious about how the airbags in the seats are going to react with having a cover on.

I'm sure the manufacturers and people that are doing the covers/re-wraps are considering it. At least I hope so...

I really want to do an Ultraleather/Ultrasuede setup in my car, but the factory material does seem somewhat bonded to the foam. Plus above mentioned issue.

Bonded is a good word, one of the reasons I recovered the headrests once I put the monitors in, the factory 'fabric' drove me a bit nutty
