Just finished the flooring of our new work truck. We ordered the 08 xb to turn it into a work truck and its actually going good. we took out the top of the seats to make room for a wooden carpeted deck here is some pictures. I will post more pictures when the toolboxes and parts shelves are in.

 

Where did you get your carpet, or what kind is it, or any recommendations on where I can find some like that (even though I'm in SoCal)? I was looking to get black carpet, to semi-match the factory carpet on a custom hatch cover I'm going to make for my tC, just not sure where to start looking. Thanks, looks good, nice idea.

 

The color of the carpet is ebony you can probably find the carpet at probably any local carpet supplier you guys have out their. just make sure you lay a abhesive glue before you tuck and staple the carpet. The setup we did was re-enforced with wood under the deck so we can apply alot of weight.

 

Not sure what you are going to be carrying but just an idea I had when I was looking at it

How about a wall or something where the colors are inverted, just in case you ever have to slam on the brakes you dont have to worry about tools or materials flying up to the passenger section or into the back of the seat.

Good looking work though.
